it includes a diagram, so i cant really type it, i would attach the question but my scanner is broken.

what did ppl put y as for this question? Is it 2m? That's what i guess it was.

for question 10 cant u just sum the vertical so that it is 3 minus 1 equalling 2 up and there was only one ith vertical 2 up

Yup. Doing that gave you a net downward force of 2kN, eliminating C and D.
Then quickly take moments of pt A, so FA=(3*3)-(1*1)= 8, and its a clockwise moment leaving B.
