find the limiting reactant of the two reactants by finding how many mols of NO and how many mols of O3 are given to you. Use the lesser one, the limiting reactant as the basis for all ur mole calculations. Then, u will know the no. of mols of NO2 that are produced from ratios. one mol of gas = 24.47 litres at room temp/pressure... multiply no. of mols with 24.47 to get no. of litres..

yes, i know, but wat does it mean by limiting, in the q it says the max volume. For max volume i would incur that u use the highest moles to get the volume

what does it mean by limiting?

eventually one of the reactants
will run out... you need to find
which one it is and work with
that number of moles

the max volume you're implying cannot exist

OH lol i had problems with that question as well. Thanks serge i didn't really understand why, coz i though max as in the maximum volume. But that sounds more logical.
