I have a assessment coming up...a prac on the motor affect.
I was just writing it up before the prac day coming in a few days and I don't know what some of the possible sources of errors are in the prac.
All I have so for is accuracy of the weighing machine and finding the length of the magmatic field.
Does anyone know what some of the errors in this prac could be? and if you have any tips for this prac pls share.
thnx

One error would be:

- The distance between the conductor and the bar magnets (inconsistency)

just think of what went wrong to alter your results

such as for aluminium foil if you have altered the tension of the foil by altering the clamps height, that would also be an error.

Yeah we're doing a similar thing where you have to build a electric dc motor. The thing is how would you turn this motor into AC current if what youre using for power are triple AAA batteries

What do you mean "how would you turn this motor into AC current"?

That would be a generator. If you wanted the motor to RUN OFF AC current, you would have to use slip ring communtators rather than split ring.
