Ok, I'm gonna ask a question now:

Scenario: I dumped my imperial legion "uniform" (my cuirass) in some random Dwemer site, in order to move shitloads of expensive armor, and I know haven't got a f*ng clue as to where this site is.

Question: I wanna know if I can get a new "uniform", in order to talk to the imperial legion people, and where I can get it. Don't even bother suggesting to go back to find the site, coz I don't even remember which region it was in, and I did intervention to move my overencumbered arse outta the place. I am pretty miffed that I can't find it anyway, coz there was still stacks of expensive armor left in there. :vcross:

u can buy them. I think I bought them from Syda Neen with my original cheat character. Look around, there should be pple selling them. else...taunt one of the guards and killl him when he attacks u. Other guards won't interfere.

my current character is legit, without any cheats. level 18 Breton, custom class, specialising in magic [created it 2 days ago]. I love seeing my enemies pinned down while one of my menions toast him :D.

I always steal stuff, but not under their noses. Once I stole somthing from mages guild and tried to sell it back to the owner....I got killed.

I'm kinda stuff'holic. I pick up anything that's worth something. and most of the times overloaded.

btw. if u kill the characters from mods, guards don't give a damn. U can kill them as u wish.

Yeah, I found out the hard way that you can't sell stuff back to the person you stole it from...

I'll buy a new one, thanks for that.

I'm best without any armor at all, but I have a full set of glass armor which I've never used. I also have a fair amount of Daedric armor, and some other expensive stuff (I hoard absolutely everything). I don't keep the stuff that's not worth much, solely because I don't use any of the armor. Ever.

btw. I checked yesterday...u can buy the armours at the forts themselves. they always have it.

Last night I went to prove myself to ashlanders in order to be a Clanfriend, I got a great glass claymore, but had to sell it:(. My character is pure magic plus light armor, speechcraft and marksman. I got a glass greaves as well. I want a complete set of glass armor, any idea where to still them or get them by force? [I just realised that I can use Telekinesis to steal stuff from a distance :D]

Shadow, go to Gnesis, from there, make your trek to the colony near it, Ald Velothi or something... on the way, girl asks you to get the ring stuck in pond, they are actually a bunch of theives. Attack the girl, then you shall see a near invisible girl. Kill her too, KEEP HER AMULET. its 80% chameleon for 60 seconds. That means you can steal with impunity, you can attack monsters and they don't attack you because they can't see you. Once you get the amulet, start staking up on lockpicking skills, steal a lot for stuff for training, try ghostgate where you can get whole set of glass stuff. Sell those to the talking mudcrab (he has 10,000 gold), once you get all the money, get the training, then go to Vivec, go raid all those noble house vaults :D. Once you get the money, find the master trainers, and train your way to level 60+ :D.

Here's the link with EVERYTHING to do with morrowind.

lol!!!!!!!!

I knew I had seen glass armour somewhere. It was at Ghoastgate. Thanks for that. [btw. I already have 5 pieces. I stole 2 from Greater Bazzar at 'Mornhold' and killed an Orc at suran for the other 3 pieces:)]

My character specialises in magic, and now that I know how to make use of most of his skills I can steal so easy. [I made a Telekinesis spell with range 100 and have a unlocking spell of 100 as well. I go into shops, stay hidden from the shopkeepr and still his/her money from the chest infront of her/him. Same goes for the other items.:D]

for the hidden part, I have a few weak spells for invinsibility [e.g. inv'ble for 30 sec], so I might pop into that girl you said and grab the amulet.

I have around 250K right now. I have been stalking the Creeper!

All my major skills are 60+ right now. My Destruction skill is at 82 followed by Conjuration at 75. I'm trying to get more menions so I don't have to do a lot of fighting. I'm lazy [I did the same in Diablo II and LOD :D]

Yerp, I still have to go to a fort tho, and I'm lazy...

I am a fighter, I don't do much magic although I got shitloads of scrolls, from my travels. At the moment I only carry magic weapons. My specialties are long sword, acrobatics, short sword, athletics, and something else...

I'm the biggest hoarder, so I don't sell anything, and just hide it away in Drarayne Thelas' storage room. Its packed full of stuff right now. I'm trying to find some character which is rumored to have stacks of gold, and buys stuff at nearly full price.

Finish the major houses faction quests to get nice houses for storage - Hlaalu looks best, then Redoran (looks like a criossant) and lastly the ugly Telvanni.

Check out the net to download uber houses and castles, some are as big as Ebonheart :O and bigger. Mine was a uberly decked lvl 82 dark elf (exploited bug to get that high), had full set of all types of armour and weapons, daedric long bow + paralyzing arrows :D and Gravedigger, 325k lying around and topped the Imperial Legion, Hlaalu, Theives Guild, Mages Guild, Temple, Imperial Cult and East Empire Trade (expansion). BEAT THAT! :p

Downloading doesn't do me any good, since I have the xbox version.

Since you are so smart, and all, how do I increase my Magika related skills? I have done all the training I can with the Mages guild, but I just can't get them up any higher, because I don't use magic, since I'm a fighter.

I can't work out how to put souls into the gems either.

What did you do to get to level 82?

The only way is to increase through casting spells, training or through books. Find the master trainers (the link i posted shows the locations), the trainers that can send your skills to 100, there's one trainer for each skill. it will cost heaps and you need the requisite states to do so... but you can bypass that by training a diverse selectrion of skills. The bug relates to the uplevel menu, usually if you max all your attributes like strength, charm etc... to 100, you can't increase your level anymore, in the PC version, it still increases. To use soul gems, cast a soul caputre spell, then beat it to death, it should say you captured the soul, then click and drag soul stone to yourself (onto the picture) to use it. Best souls are Winged Twilights and Ascended Sleepers, and Vivic, if you're strong enough.

Hehe, good luck to me. I suck at all things magic in this game. I love bashing/stabbing the crap outta people, and I only ever use scrolls/enchanted items in order to hurt someone, or open something which is locked beyond my picking skill.

Actually now that I think of it, how do you use your enchanting knowledge to recharge your magical items? Coz I have to carry about 5/6 different magical swords in order to keep killing stuff, coz I always drain them. I read somewhere that if you have enchant skill you can recharge them. I have enchant as one of my major skills, its only on 64 tho.

Hey Elephant, have you found the Sword of the White Woe? easiest weapon to attain at the start, its in Suran, when you get off the Silt Strider, go to the tower near it, top level, under bed. Need a decent level of sneak to get it though.

Pinkelephant:
- to bind souls to gems you need to know mysticism and learn the spell. or you could simply buy a scroll from someone. Your success depends on your characters 'Willpower' and mysticism skills if you want to learn the spell.

- In Caldera there's a scamp who has 5000 and offers full price for items. [you have to wait 24 hrs for him to regain his money]. Also there's a mudcrab, with 10000, somewhere south-east of Suran. go here http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/travelguide/contents.asp and follow the 'Mechants' link. It has a picture of the location.

A question: Is it OK to train under master trainers and raise your skills while you get the money from people like mudcrab or scamp? I feel guilty proceeding with that. But will anyways :D......maybe.

Oh...one more thing.....I had to restart and build a new character:(:(:(. My original legit character got into some problems. After having no magicka I tried to rest at Mages guild and got attacked by an assasin I run off to rest at fighters guild, got attacked there as well...so I run to somone else's house to rest. when I came back, after saving the gam:(:(:(, I got attacked by the mages guild and fighters guild when trying to kill the assasins. I didn't want to have so many enemies so I started a new charcater.

btw. I'm an addicted thief now. Using Telekinesis with 100 pt and a Open Door with one 100 pt I can't stop stealing. I have rubbed almost all the places I have been to.

Where and which house is the absolute best looking? I want a good house so badly. I killed the poor Balmora pawnbroker to get her house. I felt sorry for her.

what's the highest level you can achieve in Morrowind?....I think when all major and minor skills are maxed you can't level anymore. true?.....

Lone Shadow, you get the houses only by completing all the quests for one of the great houses. Err.. the Assasins, you didn't install Tribunal have you? Because those guys can even kick my butt...

oh so they give you the house! kool

and yeah I have both Tribunal and Bloodmoon. The assasins start pretty easy and when your character goes higher level, they become very dangerous. at the moment they use some kind of dark + Daedric Wakizashi against me. Daedric Wakizashi is very dangerous. But it's good money at 48000.........oh before I forget. I get 2 at a time now:(. I have made a special spell for them. kills them in 2 hit. [my normal spell has an area of effect and gets me in trouble with anyone standing around. so I had to make one with no area of effect and only damages upon direct impact]

@Avril: I've never heard of that game before; but Morrowind on the other hand is a great game, on PC. I haven't played it on Xbox.

Nah, I haven't yet. I'll look for it tomorrow.

Thanks for the pointers on soul capture, guys, I caught my first two souls today - two winged twilights. They were pretty easy.

Can you capture human souls? I tried it, but it said that the spell missed, and then the person killed me. Lucky I'd saved!

Do the souls automatically go into the appropriate gems? Like having petty soul gems, and grand, etc.
