hey guys, if you got a monash interview(today by mail), can you list umat score, so we can figgure out what was their cut off i suppose. (rural people say i you are rural.)

i got 59, 89th percentile and didnt get an interview
but applying for DRL

How annoying is it that we don't get to chose interview time?

Like I live in Sydney, wouldn't it be nicer to let me chose a time when it's convenient for me to fly to melbourne?



Oh and I got 99th percentile 68 or 69 umat I forget.

where did you get that from?
and, that's a really tight. if i worked it out correctly, to have 500 interview places all in the top 7% of UMAT scores, they must have had 7142 applicants which i find hard to believe lol

because people with 60 got rejection letters.

you are assuming that everyone applies who gets a umat. in reality far less people apply, and most of them has a reasonable chance of getting in.

y do far less people apply? assuming that 20000 people sat the umat test. then about 1400 people got 93 percentile or more. so ur saying 900 of those people didnt apply?

i got an interview 2...98th percentile 66 overall...n im not rural...the interview was for physio...i dint apply for med or dentistry or anything lyk that

thats not true..ppl at my skl got way lower n still got an interview

im pretty sure that 93 percentile was the cutoff. i know people got got 92 and 91 who didnt get an interview.
perhaps your friends were international students in which case its their ISAT score that is used?

no actually...there from melbourne n got a way way lower percentile...lyk in the high 60'z...n there was lyk 3 of them...so im preety sure they accept lower

Maybe they were talking about their overall score, not their percentiles. There is no way known Monash will take interviews with people who got 70%ile. And International students also go to school in Melbourne.
