Monash Commerce vs. Macquarie Com/Law -- which to pick? (1 Viewer)

I am a student from Melbourne.
I have received offers from Monash University for the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce/Law from Macquarie University.

At the moment, I'm weighing between the two as although I am intent on pursuing Law as an area of study, I have yet to personally study law so I have no idea as to whether I will enjoy the course or not. My studies have always been fairly consistent and I like a myriad of subjects ranging from the arts, sciences and humanities. My interests have always been fairly wide range.

I'm unsure whether as to pursue Com/Law immediately in my 1st year of University studies of try out a year of Commerce before proceeding with a transfer (only if I get a distinction average in my 1st year) at Monash.

I like how these undergraduate Commerce/Law degrees can be completed in 5 years. However, I was hoping to understand more of studies at Macquarie itself. I'm nervous as I have barely heard of it as a university and worry if potential employers in the future would look down on the alma matter and disregard the effort I put into the course.

So between Monash Commerce and Macquarie Commerce/Law, might I ask which would you choose and the reasons why?

Well if i live in Melbourne and i got an offer in a University located in Melbourne that i like and a similar course only in Sydney. I'd probably bump for Monash. You even get to graduate quicker, also commerce can double major so its like you did a double degree and the best thing is you can choose from a range of majors utilising social sciences where science, maths and humanities come together say... majoring in accounting and media or something. However if Law is a must Macquarie all the way dude but i'll leave you with this... If ATAR cut offs are that high for Law degrees in most universities with legions of people taking arts just to transfer into a law degree.... Just how many law graduates are out there? High competition is only good if you love what you do in my opinion.
