I don't think it's a topic many schools do, so you're better off making your own.

yeah . heres a really quick one ..
Zionism was a cultural-then-political movement that started with some Russian Jews going to Palestine to "re-claim" the land as theirs .
They did this by buying land off some of the Palestinians
Impact - 1. many palestinians lost large amounts of their land - many became poor and homeless
2. Anti-Zionist groups formed, which attacked Jewish settlements in Palestine. This led to death in some cases
3. important - it is argued that Zionism gave the Palestinians a sense of their own identity - or they would have disappeared into some Arab national movements '
4 . Extreme conflict in the area today , it's still happening over arguments of who owns the land
5. Many Arabs are in camps today because they no longer have a home. Many also were forced to move in to neighbouring countries such as Lebanon and Jordan.

Key personality : Theodor Herzl , he held the First Zionist Conference in Switzerland, 1857 (double check that date)

The Zionists were successful and 'Israel' was born in 1948.

Key words : First aliya, UN partition, Hovevei Zion, Ottoman Empire, Balfour Declaration , Sykes-Picot agreement
