Sorry to ask what must be a really dumb question but just what is NRSL? I really need to find out how this transfer thing works.

NRSL is one of our made up terms... essentially it means Non-Recent School Leaver Index.

Transferring also depends on the uni's policy on internal and external transfers. Even individual faculties can have different transfer policies.

I suggest you research the degrees and the uni's you want to apply to, and ask the respective faculties if they have some sort of internal transfer policy (where you could avoid the use of your UAI altogether in some instances)
