I did a satchel for uni in the first year, and it hurts your shoulder if you need to take a lot of stuff. Now that I ride into uni, I have to have a backpack and it's far better to carry stuff and much more practical to be honest.

Otherwise, just check out luggage/bag stores because you can get some really cool stuff on sale there (most of the time).

Well... you know, every single shop/office/restaurant/theater has an interior designer do the fit outs. It's not just deciding curtains it's being environmentally sustainable saving the consumer money and space and functionality.

So yeah it's not really a dying career as long as people keep opening the above.
