If you've practiced enough, you really just need to remember the quotes and then the technique and theme will come to you straightaway.

you probably should have done it beforehand. I started memorizing for my modules a week ago. :p

I only started memorising the night before my trial exams.

Just memorise quotes/techniques/effects and it will flow nicely.

I did it the night before trials too, all-nighter yeeeeeeee rank 2/220 hahahaha rofl

Repeat for HSC (you think I would've learnt not to leave it this late again but...)

I only started memorising the night before my trial exams.

Just memorise quotes/techniques/effects and it will flow nicely.
ie. just memorize the peels (or technically it's PETELs -> point, example, technique, effect, link to Q) and that way you should be set, provided that you also studied the texts in depth

i use tables to help breakdown my essays. so much easier and it helped me in paper 1 :D

Don't memorise it word for word.

Write an essay plan, with your topic sentences, quotes, techniques, main points. This way you'll actually give yourself a chance. Remember to get a good night sleep because sleep enhances memory.

I did it throughout the year, in tuition and etc. So, it was basically revision.

once i get off here that's what i'll be doing! oh wait, i've only written two, i hate you hamlet :S

actually i lie, i like hamlet, just not writing essays about it. critical study is so hard to prepare for!
