Do you guys use media for the crime section? Not sure on how to obtain relevant media articles/or if its used by heaps of students?

Still use it I suppose. Use legislation, case law and at least one media article/journal etc.

While the use of media isn't a necessity, it does however help support your argument and will show the marker(s) that you know your content, plus can support it with recent issues concerning the topic. The best source for media is generally to get it off the SMH, or other types. Make sure its relevant to domestic laws, and that its recent.

I usually have one media article in my essays and a few other cases with legislation. Depends on the question and if there are relevant articles to support it, otherwise just go in with a few cases + legislation.

I have at least one media item in every paragraph, sometimes 2-3 in each paragraph.

Two minimum, usually 3/4 in each and the essay around 4 body paragraphs
