I think you'll find that I know what I'm talking about, at least when it's relevant to me.
Half of the people doing combined degrees that started in my year will miss out on mechatronics 2, as well as other things like thermodynamics and engineering mechanics.

I don't know how they're restructuring things in the middle years, with the move to 6cp subjects, as things will change. But for my year, courses are missed out on.

well maybe, but from what i heard is that we're gonna b doing all the subjects- since we're doing one extra year one than u guys.

and yeah, i am missing out on one subject (engineering computing) but i'm prolly gonna b catching that up next year it seems anyways.

I'd make sure with Salah or whoever your year advisor is.

hmm...yeah, well i'm in the flexible first year, and i don't even know if i'm gonna b doing mechatronics first of all.

but i will try to get exemptions from engineering mechanics and other "physics type" courses, since i'm gonna b working towards a physics major under my science degree...
