So in my test, there was a multiple question which asked "What is the shape of a cross section in a prism"
The possible answers were a) polygon b) circle and I forgot the rest. What would the answer be?

It literally didn’t mention any type prism, just said what I said above

It would either be a polygon (Assuming the cut was made straight down the prism), or it would be a rectangle if the cut was horizontal. Some information would be useful in this question, but it seems extremely vague anyway
