does anybody know if our ext 2 response papers are scanned or marked physically? My teacher told me that they marked them physically and therefore I could use an erasable pen however I just want to confirm this as it would suck to have all my answers melted away.
don't use an erasable pen in either circumstance because they can fade from the heat of being transported as well as not showing up in scans. some schools ban them on all tests for this reason, as well as appeals ofc for school based

hopefully raw 70. i think my internal mark is like 92-91 ish rlly hoping to get like a 90 external but worried how hard they're gonna make it and i hate the questions where there is like a tiny little trick (probs most of them)

wait what do you mean by rectangles above and below (uh oh)
we had a 4 marker on it in our trial. U can see one on James Ruse 2020. Basically it just involves sums and algebraic manipulation. The main thing to know is the rectangle below the curve<Area under the curve<Upper rectangle. Probs doesn't make sense but look at James Ruse 2020. I'm a bit suspicious it will pop up cause im yet to see it in a hsc paper at least recently

coefficient of friction isn't in the syllabus right?
Friction coefficient IS in the syllabus, hidden in the glossary section. Just remember its a constant times the normal force and the normal isn't always only just gravity but can be caused by any force directed partially into the plane (hence creating a reaction force)
