they messed up with who they outsourced the exam creation to. I think they should all be fucking sued. this is worse than the vce leak, as the questions are suppose to be differentiating and unseenthere are 3 possibilities
1. they put up the original paper and get criticised for the mistake
2. they change the question and get criticised for changing it after the exam finished
3. they never put the paper up and get criticised for not putting it up.
more important than differentiating is valid and reliable.questions are suppose to be differentiating

considering the solution i put up before question 13a in the 2025 paper is neither valid nor reliable as an assessment item for extension 2 content
if they are aware of this issue it is even possible the question doesn't get marked at all - is disregarded and 3 marks deducted from total
please cancel the entire papermore important than differentiating is valid and reliable.

Technically theta is just an angle for a triangle, not necessarily the angle of projection (with a direction), so not necessarily. But you are meant to infer that the initial vertical velocity is -30. Kind of annoying thoughJust looking at the projectile question in 16(b). Shouldn’t sin0 be -3/5?
so what do u think they will not mark the question altogether or try and cover up their mistake.
bro they definitely aint removing the question, i dont think theres a problem with it cause the exam gets checked many times and it would have been noticed a long time agoso what do u think they will not mark the question altogether or try and cover up their mistake.
Yeah sin is negative, it’s just that I think they were assuming ‘theta’ is just a positive value and that it had to be inferred that this meant the y was negative. As in, the horizontal component is 50cos(-theta) and vertical is 50sin(-theta). I get what you mean though, they should have said -3/5.Sure. But the projectile is travelling in the 4th quadrant and sin is negative. Also when you have a mass suspended from the ceiling, the left sided horizontal component is - cos because it’s in the second quadrant.
