i tthink 30 smth aligns to like 60 smth but 4u scales pretty well so if u do well in ur other subjects u might be able to get 90 atar

cos i think a 60 in 4u is like equivalent to a 96/97 in adv

i think im most curious about how scaling will be this yr. some says its gonna be like 2024 (which was prtty bad scaling). some say 2021. some say 2021 or 23. idek at this point.

well at the lower end the alignment will probably be the same as 2023 if not better. The E3 cut off mark is unrelated to the E4 cut off mark

I think i also made an algebra mistake while expanding but at the end when i simplified and moced it all over to one side i had to prove it was > 0 and let f(n) be that function, diffed it and showed that it was increasing for n>0 and also did f(0) and showed that this was >0 and thus the end inequality was true meaning that the original inewuality must be ttue

Fun fact: It's not strategic to dedicate too much time to MX2, since MX2 scales well anyway. Any raw mark above 70 is pretty much useless in the grand scheme of things. Obviously I don't come close to that mark, but I think if you get like a 98, UAC should award you by giving you 10 extra scaled marks. so a 50/50 should turn into a 60/50 to keep things fair for the high achievers.

Actually your mark gets aligned for the hsc marks, but UAC uses your raw marks to calculated scaled marks for atar (they get special permission from NESA to access raw marks). They're two different things that are calculated by two different organisations.
Since raw marks aren't published to the public, every atar calculator and report converts any raw mark statistics to aligned (HSC) mark statistics, which can lead to some accuracy errors.
