Now i know that it scales well. but how much does it affect ur UAI?

Lets say if I did

3 unit maths , chemistry, biology, business studies, advanced english, IPT

and got a UAI of 90.

Then I did

4 unit maths, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced English, IPT

and did...like...average to well in 4 unit,

what would my UAI be then?

thanks guys

EDIT:
btw ... just meant boosting...damnit stupid keyboard. ok, i admit, its my typing

yeah thats if you do really well though (anything above band 5, then youre in for a high scaling)
have a play around with SAM or juai and youll get the idea of the UAI you expected to get when you plug in your average 4 unit marks along with marks of your other subjects
however, dont go maths ext 2 just for the scaling...chances are youll drop it if youre really struggling

Your UAI would probably increase by a factor of ei.pi

i remember reading a thread which had the subjects on a list from highest scaled to lowest scaled.
unfortunately it wasnt english ext 2 that was the highest scaling subject.....it was one of the languages, which to my memory was latvian continuers or something like that
both maths ext 1 and maths ext 2 both ranked highly though

what does it mean exactly by +4 etc, is that 4 more marks to your HSC mark for the subject? or 4 more marks to your HSC exam mark

has anyone actually read the UAC pdf files on hsc marks and scaling?

i've looked through it and here's what i've gathered:

from your hsc marks, the only subject that scales up is maths ext2.

maths ext1 stays pretty much unchanged, though it tends to scale up a little at higher regions.

everything else scales down, bar none (the whole classical greek/latin is seemingly a rumour). this explains why for sam gives scaled down agregates for subjects such as ext2 english.
