Mathematics + Chemistry a must? (1 Viewer)

If i'm doing CHemistry, Lots of people say i should do Mathematics with it!! But then i'll have too many subjects! is mathematics necessary with chemistry?

i would say so. it's not a must, but in terms of calculation questions you may be a notch behind everyone else.

When you say Mathematics, do you mean 2U maths or any maths subject? I would certainly at least do general with it...I don't do chem so I can't really tell you for sure, but it seems like the maths you use in the subject would be explained in class. So it wouldn't really matter if you did general or 2U.

I do general maths and chemistry and so far I'm not having any problems with the mathematical side of chem.

Chemistry has a very low level of maths. It involves adding, subtracting and sometimes rearranging .

People did well in chemistry at my school and did no maths at all
You'll be fine with no maths.
