Hi, im currently doing my hsc and i need help.
For those who are undertaking the Society and Culture Course, you'd probably know what i mean, which is the PIP( Personal Interest Project). I attempting to for a focus group within this website.

So what i need is opinions, for the following;
What do people think of marriage?
Do you really want to get marriage?
Do you know who you want to live the rest of your life with?
And will you change your mind?
What do you think about arranged marriages?
Whould you consider to have an arranged marriage?
Those whom want to remain single, what are the reasons, and why?
etc. etc.

UM, ok can ppl elaborate on wat they are talking about.

Because, i am totally against marriage, because um maybe because i have to live with my father and brother. And i think that is enough punishment.

So those of you would do want to get married pleaz elaborate on the questions.

no offence, but if ur they are questions for ur PIP....u really need to make them more accurate, and ask people their gender and age to be more specific....

No, these are just basic questions to get the focus group to start giving me opinions on what they think about marriage. Where they plan to get married, or plan to stay single etc...

What do people think of marriage?

i personally, because im religious think its great, i have also been lucky that my parents are still together and are happy so i havnt had to suffer any negativities to do with the subject.

Do you really want to get marriage?

i cant wait to get married, feminists would hate me, but i want to get married and have kids, if i had to quit my job and be a stay at home mum i would gladly. i would love to know i had the love of someone that much, not that i'v not had the chance to experienced love and relationships etc, but yeah, i duno...if you could make the qu's more specific i'd be happy to give a further point of view.

No, i wouldnt say 'i do,' to someone if i didnt think i could spend the rest of my life with them...

i disagree with them, and i feel for the people that are forced into them..a decision as big as this needs to be made by the individual...

1,2 Yes i want to get married one day,I like the idea of getting married & waking up next to my husband everyday,spending the rest of my life with someone I love, and starting a family together is something i want to do... but i'm not in any rush to get married.

5-I disagree with arranged marriages, people should not be forced to marry someone who they do not choose to spend the rest of their lives with.

What do people think of marriage?
I think its a great thing. It bonds two people together legally, but psychologically, romantically aswell. Marriage is beautiful. It can prove how much teo people love each other, and if they are committed to being together forever.plus sharing your bed every night with the guy you are in love is pretty special, same with waking up to them, and knowing you will be with them till "death do us part"

with previous boyfriends, i could say "i want to be with you forever"..and somehow know it wouldnt happen. but with my current boyfriend, things are really different and i honestly cant see anything changing.

well its part of certain religions, and i respect their beliefs in arranged marriage...i dont like the idea of them, but i respect it.
Whould you consider to have an arranged marriage?
probably not, but its not my religion or culture or anything to have an arranged marriage, if it was part of my religion i might think differently about it.

***marriage is 2 people..in a contract with oneanother, binded by love..both have rights duties and responsibilities towards one another...dependant on eachother..sharing lives together and reproducing etc..

***yes i know who..but i dont know if it will be him

***possibly..who knows..anything could happn between now and then

***i think they're fine to an extent..no one can force you to marry anyone..but if its an arranged marriage and you accept no worries..in most cases..studies show..they work out just great,

***if im not married by 30 i will arrange formyself to have an arranged marriage..(hopefully it wont come down to that)

What do people think of marriage? I believe it's a spiritual union between two souls, combining to become a single unit. It is also a legal and religious binding.
Do you really want to get married? Yes, one day, if I find the right person.
Do you know who you want to live the rest of your life with? No.
And will you change your mind? Not on marriage, no.
What do you think about arranged marriages? Fine for some spiritualities; not mine, however.
Would you consider to have an arranged marriage? No, I like my civil liberties too much.
