your parents. :p
There are three groups of people who can ask you to leave:

1. Owner
2. Occupants
3. Apparent person in charge.

Naw, I'll leave that to people like you! :D I only know that because the tresspassing law (Inclosed Lands Protection Act) is one I work with and I come under the third category as a guard.

I've heard of cases where the owner of a building has wanted to get in, but guards have blocked their way and refused to let them in... needless to say, the owners have gotten very angry :D

I was actually arguing that the house wasn't his property, and therefore he couldn't ask me to leave "his premises" (that doesn't exclude asking me to leave his place of residence). It was just wordplay. :)

Why would the guards refuse entry to the owner? Couldn't s/he convince them of his/her identity? And isn't the right to exclude entry heirarchical (ie the owner's decision precedes that of the occupants and the apparent persons in charge, in that order)?

'cause if they're working at a big place, they're going to have no idea who the owner is, and much less of an idea of what they look like.

Hmm, fair enough then. I'd be pretty pissed off if I owned a stadium or something and my own security wouldn't let me in.
