Marking process for short essay?!?!? (1 Viewer)

hey so i was just wondering if anybody knows about the marking process... yesterday in modern i kept thinking the exam ended at 1 (no idea why) so i basically ended up with a 1 and a half page essay (as the exam ended at 12.30)... how many marks can a marker give me if all there was, was a good intro outlining everything and then a bunch of panic sentences when i realised i had 2 minutes left?

Panic sentences? Simply, they give you marks if you're arguing something - if you've put points down and you're assessing/answering the question the way it requires you to. If you're not making any links back to the question with no relevant facts/examples, then I don't think you'd get the marks....

They will give you whatever marks they can based on the marking guidelines. You won't be the only one with an essay like this.
