"March of the Penguins" as a related text (1 Viewer)

A lot sources have suggested the film, March of the Penguins as a text. It looks pretty interesting and I think it could be a great text but I'm having difficulty understanding how it fits into the concept of 'belonging' or not belonging. Can anyone help me out?

Although I haven't seemn the movie yet, I think that the way how penguins depend on each other for survival (how an adult catches fish for her young) and the trials they face togther as a community during their migration ties in very closely to the concept of belonging. The penguins belong with each other in a collective group and together they face the perils nature inflict upon them.

I can see how this might slide into the belonging area of study, but what sort of techniques are used to emphasise this idea?
