Hi my major work includes a 'lightbox'. My dad made this out of wood and used Perspex to allow light through (which I believe is fine to use). But he bought a glass light to go inside it, does this matter if you can't see it or is it any form of glass that is not exceptable no matter where it is. Also seeming as my dad made it the lights are a reading lamp thing (sits inside the box with the light) which will go onto a power board, I don't need to have an electrician give me some paper saying it's safe or anything like that do I? Any help on this will be much appreciated
