Major work - Personalities (1 Viewer)

Hi I need some suggestions with my major work. If I were to focus on a personality, I'm thinking Charles II or Madame de Pompadour maybe? how would I go about doing so? My teacher wants me to have a historiographical debate with two main historians and another two secondary historians.
I'm also interested in Organised Crime/Mafia as a topic but I can't seem to find any debates regarding its historiography.

It's probably too late for this, but meh. Oliver Cromwell will be good seeing that his reputation is quite controversial amongst different peoples; an Irishman will think very differently of him to an Englishman, and I am sure historians have debated about this and his role in the history of England.
