Currently the UAI for an engineering course is 85 points.

You can increase your points by doing a number of things:

1. Doing subjects such as:
  • Engineering studies;
  • Industrial Technology;
  • Information Processes and Technology;
  • Information Technology;
  • Physics;
  • Chemistry;
  • Software Design and Development;
  • English Advanced, Extension 1 or Extension 2; and
  • Mathematics Extension 1 or Extension 2
Will earn you 2 additional UAI points each. Up to a limit of 6.

2. Undertaking the engineering questionare will earn you an additional number of points.

Most importantly, please check this website for more information. Hope this helps.

66 sounds like the UWS cut off.
Yeah, it is. My brother is doing civil engineering at UWS and he got 69 UAI.

Yo dumarab, I heard that it doesn't really matter which Uni you get your degree from when it comes to Engineering.

Yes, You will get definately get in. I wanted to do Engineering at UTS since my brother graduated from there so I know for a fact that they will accept anything greater than 66. I wanted to do Engineering/Law at UTS but didn't get accepted so instead I am doing comm/law at mac which isn't to bad.

HAHAHA..YAY! Another person for Innovation! Apparently, using the main round offer finding thingy, only 2 ppl got offered for Innovation T_T. Likely, You'll get into Innovation Engineering. (YES! That makes 4 if u get it)

Haha I think the concept of the innovation major is really interesting - but it can't be combined with Int Studies! I'm going to give UTS a call on tuesday and ask why. I'll play it smooth...
