i went through 7 hours of sponge bob square pants marathon over my cousins house... i think i can handle9 hrs of LOTR without falling asleep

I went through about 15-20 hrs worth of Smallville Episodes (consecutively).

It kept me interested so I didn't fall asleep.

well if u like something and it keeps u stimulated it will be very hard to get bored and fall asleep...i could hardly keep my eyes awake after the first 5 minutes of 'emma' whilst we were watching it in class...cant believe im saying this but the book was more interesting

I've watched the first two movies a hundred times over.
I'll be asleep by the time the last one is on.
Sitting on a seat for 10 hours is crazy anyway!

There would be a break between each movie.
You could definitely stay awake if you were interested enough.
All up it goes for 9.3 hours, so you're looking at at least 10 including breaks.

No break between two films is different to no break between three lengthy films.
