1) loga8/loga2
(a is the base and 8 is a normal number)

2) log(x^3) / log x

1) log_a8 = log_a(2³) = 3log_a2

So log_a8/log_a2 becomes : 3log_a2/log_a2 = 3

2) Same kind of idea, bring the power to the front. Answer is also 3

1. Loga 8 / Loga 2 = Log2 8 = 3

2. Log (x^3) / Log x = Logx (x^3) = 3Logx (x) = 3
