Have you ever tasted the ones from the supermarket?

The apple and fruit ones all taste fine, the like mince and gravy and vegetable ones look, smell and taste like cat food.

And yes, I have eaten cat food so I would know.

Living off $8 till Thursday is not hard. Go to Coles, buy two loaves of $1 bread. Then buy a small jar of strawberry jam or peanut butter or other spread etc. You will still have change left over as well.

I think the idea was to last till Thursday with just bread, which I think is very much possible regardless of whether they are empty carbs or not.

Purée is extremely good because you don't have to bother chewing, which I like :)

Dog food smells real rank.

Is this in anyway related to living off $8?
maybe :shy:
i wasn't seriously considering it.
when i realised i was short of money i went through my options
then i remembered this thread and my mind went from baby food to pet food

it's not like my cupboard and fridge are barren, i still have basics
- some fruit, cereal, lots of tuna and a few days worth of frozen meat
i will survive :music:

i said next thursday, not this coming thursday - a whole extra week.
and if you think that is a valid and nutritious option, please try it
i hope it kills you

Bread is empty carbs.
depends on the type of bread and what you eat with it

I thought the idea was "living off baby food - discuss"
yes everyone back on topic pls

even though i made this thread when i was bored
i am curious - does baby food contain the proper nutrients for an adult to survive on?
