World Politics - No, only lecturer's notes on WebCt and they're supposed to be 'cryptic' because they want you to attend the lectures.

Anthropology 1001 and 1002 - No, but the notes on WebCt were good for 1001. I only started 1002 this semester but the notes also seem quite good (the lecturer just posts up all the notes from her powerpoint presentation).
You may be able to get by on these ;)

Anddd umm I don't do sociology

hope this helps. I figured since you asked about Worldpol you were asking about junior units in general..

Well, I don't do that IT unit, but anyway, the one that I do, Introduction to Programming, doesn't record lectures either.

But...isn't it kind of a waste not to attend lectures? You are paying a lot of money just to be there.

Well, Victorian Literature doesn't record the lectures but even worse, doesn't even put the slides up on WebCT. I hate having to write everything in such a speedy way that it makes no sense. At least put the slides up, woman!!1 :burn:

Yeah, my MECO lecturer doesn't record it or put up the slides either. For English, they refuse to record it (their excuse was that their interpretation was only one of many possible ones, though I'm not sure how not recording it would helps their argument) and the slides are kinda bare, so they don't guide your notetaking either.

But anyway, Nousiainen, how about recording it yourself for revision? Most mp3 players or phones have built in recording devices nowadays. If you don't have one...well, next time you buy a new mp3 player or phone, look for one that records. It's cheaper than getting a specialised voice recorder.

I've done many sociology subjects and none of them have recorded the lectures.
