I was running ubuntu on separate partition. But then I got pissed off that my shitty ATI video card doesn't have proper drivers and I couldn't run my resolution at 1920*1200 but only 1024*768....which is a massive annoying difference....

So I have resorted to running it using VM.

Strictly I don't have Linux installed, but I do have FreeBSD, which I use for almost everything. I also have Windows on dual boot atm, but I use it only when I must.

you could try using this http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Ub...ling_Breezy.27s_Included_Driver_.288.16.20.29

mind you, it didn't work for me. but others have reported that it works. i'm just waiting for dapper.

New Beta of Ubuntu is out - and the new version is coming soon.
It better support my laptops. The only thing nice about Linux on my laptops is that they usually don't work well and all the "fun" is in the tweaking and hacking.

I'm forced to use Linux for some of my assignments because there's no Windows version of the apps that I need to use, hence all the frustration.
