Any up to the urban casestudy on Sydney or something similiar.

Is anyone finding it tedious, boring and lullaby-ish?

We're still doing tourism, but we're going to start urban soon. We're doing pyrmont, what about you?

Yeah Geo isnt too bad i liked it better in yr 9 and 10 when i was in a classroom learning environment but now im taching my self via correspondance cuz my school time table is stuffed.

For prelim i like the SGP the best - i did "open spaces in urban places - a study of parklands in a waterfront inner city cuburb"

HSC - i like the urban dynamics and local industry
i have been doing - eosystems- maqurie island toundra
- urban and cities - pyrmont
- local industry - hunter vally wine industry

i think there are 10 in my class but i am yet to meet them
and at school there is a class of 16 who i talk to when i can

We did winemaking too so basically social trends are like:
(1) Wine is becoming more popular as reasons like "drink a glass of wine a night" suppossed to help with your heart, and its also becoming more "trendy" lol west coast coolers.
I have no real idea, the problem is we need current statistics to look good but where do you get them. My teachere kept on givings us stuff from like 1996!!!

Yeah I rekon.
People often bag geo out and say its a stupid useless subject.
Well as someone who does ancient history I can says its heaps more useful than ancient. Lol. Geography is awesome coz your work is relavant to the world around us at the current time. Like whenever you lok in the paper there'll be an article somehow related to geography.
I also find that geography complememnts, and is complenmented by economics. E.g in my eco test today i was able to use my geographical knowledge for the ecologically sustainable deelopment part.

Yeah, I did geo in yrs 7 and 8. But not in year 9. But once we had to do the complusory SC course I was hooked. I got 100 in the SC that year, which was great. (Now if only I could repeat that in the hsc, Hmm.. not likely)
I have a really fantastic teacher too ans she makes it even more worthwhile.

Lol ok there's my geography propaganda rant for today.
NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDD GO HOME!
