Hey all,

Maybe I'm just old fashioned/conservative, whatever, plus the fact I'm asian, but I'm kinda worried cos my lil bro started learning about the above in YEAR 2!!!!! I only learnt it in Year 6/7, cos it was the school curriculum (I was in an international school overseas back then) and it just happened I developed quite early (oh the shame!), at that particular age, so I was bound to ask questions anyway even if the curriculum hadn't been timed so exactly to be taught at that particular time.

What should I do about my bro? I guess I can't stop him growing up but I would'ev preferred it if he learnt this sorta stuff at an older age, now he's full kitzblitzing about the house and be like, 'I'm gonna punch your nutsac out' or blah....hmm, did any of you have the asme experience?

fact that may or may not be true, but i shall use in support of my argument:

holland has a very low age of consent, and also has a lot of sex ed at a very young age. they have one of the lowest teen pregnancy rate in the world.

i started learning about it when i was in year 5: when i found an empty box of condoms in the bin!! haha. here's another question: where do people learn more about sex/etc? from their parents or from cosmo? mine did nuthin, i learnt more from my friends...and...personal experience. peace out

You'd be surprised how young kids are when they find this stuff out these days. Alot of parents don't seem to mind what their kids watch on TV. And they're gonna find out eventually, usually off their friends rather than their parents or teachers so in a way I guess its better for them to learn the right way

I was really old when I found out about all that stuff, but I can't remember exactly when. lol When I was in year 3, my best friend told me that sometimes when people kiss they use their toungues and I was horrified and went into denial and even went home and told my mum

I hear about those stuff in about yr 5/6, but I didn't have a clue in what those lebs are on about. I didn't truely know about these stuff until in PD/H/PE class in yr 7!! LOL
I used to think you can get pregnant just by sleeping in the same bed because the movies only show to there. HAHAHA..........

We learnt sex ed. at our school in YR 6 and it was really boring.

Me and my friends saw a porno when we were in YR 5, that pretty much taught us all there was to know.

i found out when i was 4 but didnt realise it cos an older kid told me and then i told my mum who then said no it wasnt true. ( this is like accurate description of sex)

i learnt about how a baby is made when i was 3. my mum got me this book. VERY graphical labour pictures. like, they are proper photos of some lady giving birth. full frontal vaginal photos with a babies head coming out.
and it also had a bit about sex in it and how you have sex and why you have sex.

We had a 'Sex Talk' Night at our primary school in yr 3. We went up to the school with our parents and learnt all about the bits and pieces below the belt. ONce returning home i go a 'where do i come from?' book. Then of course we had those 'girls only chats' about periods and boobs and shit like that with one of the teachers in like yr 5 and 6. Learnt all the obvious in yrs 7 and 8 in lovely health class hehe and then Dolly and Cosmo taught me all the nawdy nitty gritty things there are to know, as well as helpful hints
