hey y'all

i was wondering whether anyone here goes to the weekly leading edge weekly tutorials or has been/going to their holiday workshops. are they any good?

asif you cant just learn it at home anyway with help from your teacher

Well i worked it out to be $25/hour.. so its not a rip

10 2.5h weekly workshops
2 6h revision workshops
plus a one off $150 pack of books.


not bad...and the guys are good and they somehow make eco fun (OMG did he just say fun?????) Yes Fun....

and some food too
cant complain about that

there are economic student conferences run during school times at the city, chatswood and paramatta they cost like 30 bucks each...or

there are the holiday worshops in the city which cost like 179 bucks but they run for 4 full days

do the leading edge guys do any prelim seminar things in the holidays? cos i heard they did, but i couldn't find anything on their site so i'm not sure...

I just got my leading edge stuff in the mail. I don't know about the workshops - might get the model answers though

I think I'll go to the Leading Edge exam strategy workshop these holidays, but not the other revision workshops.

hey guys

i went to LE last yr... under the whole success package thing

the holiday workshops are in wynyard..theyre good if u dont intend to go to weekly workshops

for the exam strategy ones... u only need to go once.. cuz every other time is exactly the same
and for the revision workshops, i say go to the very last ones...theyre the BEST ones cuz they give u summaries of everything, and point out all the important stuff

the weekly tutorials are expensive... theyre good if ur not too confident abt how ur goin in eco.. as i was... they go thru each topic comprehensively, and alot of harder issues... and its fun, they give u food! lol...

uhh im not sure abt the conferences... i didnt go to any

I went to the revision workshop last holidays...it was pretty useless in some ways...they focused a lot on questions, particularly extended response (which I would have thought was part of the exam strategy workshops, but oh wellz)...I would have found more notes and revision useful...although some concepts were approached in a very different way from how we did them at school, so it was quite useful in that way - refreshing, I suppose you could say...

kismet....are u by any chance turkish ? coz im at LE success package at the moment and im turkish and lol i thought im the only wog thats ever been there. jeez its full of aussies and asians. So how'd u go at ur HSC wif eco ?
