Where did the Family First Party come from?! This is so weird, I can't believe Australia is becoming so backward and conservative. Its actually really depressing...

To make matters worse, the Liberals can now virtually pass anything they want, since they got such a huge majority in the senate.

Labour is a safe seat with BOS cos young people in Australia are generally intelligent...which means that in 20 years, perhaps the overwhelming majority will be for Labour?

Well I mean...this forum has its idiots, but by comparison to forums from the US, Australian young people are much more informed and aware...which I guess isn't that much of a feat but it's still something.

true that...but then americans are more concerned with their daily lives then politics generally. they also have more channels...ones without news during every advertisement break.
