Last song that made you feel something.

There shouldn't be a whole playlist of them. I mean the ones that every single time you play it, it doesn't wear out, it's as powerful as when you first heard it and clicked to it.

Don't be a dickhead and post a song that also exclaims your music taste.

Just some song that suits the time in your life and made it so much more meaningful, or beautiful, articulated a feeling you thought no one else felt, or it struck a chord and made you feel like you needed to do something. Something important.

My last was "Big Machine" - Goo Goo Dolls. Mainly the lyrics and how they were set.

"Videotape" by Radiohead might be my next one. There's a 5 year gap between those two songs. Let's see whether I can overplay it and still be powerful to me.

Anyway, post post post.

Already in a vulnerable mood at the time but I'd have to say recently it'd be Aerosmith - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing.

First one I remember having any effect is Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles, just a sad song that rings true.

Miserere by The Cat Empire, even if just for the "Long live living" bit.

Pretty much anything by Paul Kelly, notably To Her Door and Everything's Turning to White.

Blow Up the Pokies by The Whitlams also gets me.

Don't know if they're really that personal, but yeah.

coldplay - amsterdam

Ha-ha

Many use their feelings to understand songs or to "feel something" in songs. It's the other way 'round with me though. I use songs to try and understand feelings. It's sad right? (I bet you wont believe when I tell you that even when I think about the word sad in that context a list of pathetic songs was being compiled in my head.)

I've not found any songs that have made me feel something.

And yeah, Videotape for me also. It competes with Exit Music for haunting and emotional music for me though.
