westworld (1971)
very enjoyable :) it's written and directed by michael crichton, bizarrely enough. anyways, yul brynner plays the chilling 'robot cowboy' who hunts down the protagonist for the final third of the movie. i really like these 70s hokey sci fi (ala Soylent Green, Omega Man - can anyone recommend any others?? :() movies. they're effortlessly fun but substantial, and usually precise. shits on those povo phillip k dick adaptations we see at the moment
check it out

erm
4 out of 5

Really? I have big expectations
It fell a bit flat, really. It started out with a bang and then just sort of fizzled... The whole layering thing left you wanting so much more of the whimsy of the "movie". It was rather short, but worth watching as it was quite hilarious at times.

Over the Hedge. This movie is a MUST see! I loved it so much =]. Surprisingly, the squirrel has the same personality I have.

Pirates of C and Little Man. Little man was absolutely hilarious, but lacked a good storyline.

16 Blocks. Decent...a bit too slow for few parts.

pirates of the carribean 2. what a neck breaking experience, watched it in the 2nd row of the cinemas for 2hrs 40 minutes. would still recommend to watch it though since its kinda worth it cause its got its funny moments. put it this way, i'd even watch it on the floor of the cinema.

just seen it too. it doesn't really leave any doubt about a 3rd movie does it!
