if you have the money, then go for the alienware, but i think there's a really good msy gaming laptop out (its black with glowing red bits, so looks pretty awesome too), which would probably be cheaper than alienware.

Asus is worth checking out too imo.

I don't know too much about laptops, but aren't Alienware a ripoff? Aren't you just paying for the name? Even if someone does have the money, I believe it's better spent on a XPS.
