Language Tutes 1st Week??? (1 Viewer)

I realise that tutes aren't on for the 1st week but what about grammar classes for languages? I'm doing beginners Japanese and none of the classes are labelled as tutes so i'm not aware of their format. They're just named grammar, script, communication etc. Are these tutes? and if so are they on during the 1st week or is it just cultural lectures? :S Thanks in advance.

It should say on your timetable what week the class starts. I know that for intro German, tutes start week 1, but lectures start week 2
