Opening them up in food courts is going to majoral get rid of the aura surrounding them. I mean, opening in chatswood was ok considering there wasn't one on this side of the city (from what i know) but now its slowly going to become a "hmm do i want krispy kremes of gloria jeans today?"

I'm happy with them remaining a treat for my taste buds once every few months (if even)... actually before chatty i had them maybe 3 times...

I agree. They were good as a treat but if they are readily available then I probably won't eat them...

I felt sorry for the Donut King in Castle Towers.. the day they opened KKs (it was after English exam IIRC) the Donut King ppl tried to advertise so much and gave out balloons as we sat in food court... but they couldn't compete with KKs- some people went and bought 6 or 7 boxes. I don't think business will remain that great forever, but I think the store will last because there's no KKs in the Hills District, and KKs make good fundraisers (as seen in the papers- selling KKs -> make money -> buy sporting equipment!)...

ROFL... The balloons sucked though. They gave me and my friend one... not even helium- they were filled with air and stuck to the end of a really crappy stick which kept popping out >_> *how disappointing*

I don't think Castle Hill has hot ones like in Wynyard since they don't make 'em themselves =(
yeah they don't
they just get them ordered from elsewhere and sell them

A patient got one of their relatives to get us nurses some krispy kremes and i never tried any before and oh it was so nice.

But I prefer Dreamy donuts...i tried some new year and omg i love the apple crumble filled one, and the custard filled one is too rich lol...but oh so yummy...but expensive. I like the cinnamon/sugar on DK's donuts...

I don't eat KK anymore. I prefer DK cinnamon donuts. Or iced donuts. KK are too rich.

But I think the fat/sugar content is pretty much the same in any donut. 20% fat, 20% sugar, 60%??.

Nah we checked the nutritionlol info.

If you eat 5 donuts, one of them is pure fat and another is pure sugar. I have no idea what the rest of it is, air or flour or something?
