Should i give up on KPMG? i submitted my application the 5th of July at about 11pm and the applications closed on the 8th and still havent received an email. I've asked around and people who had sent their applications in a day before received emails.

I know someone who submitted their application on the 7th and they got an email.

Perhaps just wait, or call them?

I'd definitely give them a call!

In my case, PwC traineeships closed on the 5th, and I got an email on the 9th...coincidentally the 9th was the day I decided to give them a call, but the HR manager was busy at the time!! She did not call me back..however...I did get an email stating I had progressed into the next round!

Maybe just a coincidence that I had called them the same day as the email was sent, but who knows??!

So I'd say call them! =)

dont worry about it they probs have a few hundred applications to look over
KPMG Melbourne took about two weeks to email me the rejection letter
i wouldnt call them until you know they have made offers ... cos then you know their just being rude
