Kingdom Hearts... has it died? (1 Viewer)

Okay, just a quick question.
Is it me, or has KH died?
For the most part, 1, CoM and 2 were great.
I have no complaints.
But I just started playing the DS KH... and I like died.
It's... horrible... sorta...
Its whole concept looks like it was designed by some fantard who incorporated his whole USB-ful of fanfiction into it.
Wasn't that solid, really...
It just looked so fanbased... XD
So, what's next?
Birth By Sleep actually looks okay.
Obviously it has better graphics and stuff, but..
Will its be awesome?

In my opinion, the fan base has dropped because the stupid developers decided to release KH1&2 on PS2, then release an onslaught of other titles on various consoles, such as Chain of Memories on NDS, KH:Coded on Mobile, the NDS (358/2) and PSP (Birth By Sleep) one. And the only way to actually understand the story is to buy and complete all of those titles. I recently finished the nds one and sure it filled in heaps of the story between KH1 and 2, BUT, it still left many unanswered questions, like in the mission where Axel, Xion and Xigbar (I think it was him) were sent out, and Xion fought Xigbar, why did Xigbar see Xion as Ven if she is only linked to Sora and Roxas? And why does Ven look like Roxas? I guess those answers would be correlated to Birth by Sleep. And I'm pretty sure there are many other things that have been left unanswered. So that's my opinion on why the KH has 'died'. But I'm still a die hard fan, hehe, waiting for the release of KH3: Keyblade Wars, gonna be epic!

It's on way too many platforms and leads to the same problem which cross-platform games has: which one is meant to be the good/original and which ones are just crap spinoffs from other half-baked developers?

I finished KH for DS, and I loved every moment of it. You're just one of those whingy nostalgia fans, who thinks nothing will ever be as good as how you remember the early games in the series.

The day I played KH was the only day I played it.

And it was KH1. Amazingly, I found it very hard to function and stuff, probably it was my first time lols.
