Which would you rather work at?
I tried McDonalds before and didn't like it much.
KFC is probably less confusing.

i thought hungry jacks was even worse but don' t have the exact figures. how much do they pay for an 18 yo, anyone know? do you get one and a half for sats and doubles on sundays or is it just all a flat rate?

oh and do employees get discounts?

I have friends who work at Hungry Jacks and KFC and my boyfriend worked at Macca's for ages.

KFC - 18y.o, $9 - 10.
Hungry Jacks - 17y.o - $ 10 something
Maccas - 18y.o - $11.14

I worked at Hungry Jacks/Burger King in year 9..and it was actually okay. Really repetitive. But making the burgers was a pain in the ass.

yeh maccas pays much better, i heard that KFC pays according to how long yuo worked there, not yuor age or soemtihng

NEVER work @ KFC as a cook....ugh, cleaning deep fryers, taking feathers out of chickens (I kid you not) the magnitude of washing up, the constant burns....never again!

i still work at maccas and working full time as an it trainee, im 18 and maccas pay is 11.54 an hour.

But seriously neither can be that great after all it is fast food, im doing for a bit of extra cash and some socialising with people my own age in the workforce.

mcdonalds has a better training/employee program and you can actually get pretty far even if you start as a dishie. just look at charlie bell (rip).

KFC tastes better than Maccas and since most fast food joints give you discounts for lunch or whatever I'd take KFC. Besides I know people who do funny/annoying things to McDonald's people. They seem to cop more shit tahn anywhere else.
