just what kind of marks/rankings do u need for 99+ UAI??? (1 Viewer)

i'm hopin for 99+ UAI for law...
i've been gettin 90% or higher for all my subjects
(eng 2u, 3u, 4u; maths 2u, 3u; economics & legal studies)
only maths 3u is slightly lower....probably 87%
i'm not so sure about ranking tho coz' i go to a selective school and the marks are way high...
plus i think i just screwed up my trials reallllly bad..nerves...bad preparation...etc
so now i got no idea if i'd make that UAI...

can u guyz give some advice n opinions??
at least i'd know where i stand...!!

no im doin 11units....eng 4...maths 3...eco 2...legal 2...
n there's no way for me to do anything about my marks now...
i've just completed my trials....and screwd them up too....
so my marks are only goin to go down... =\

Does everyone else get <90% ?

If u do well in each of your subjects, 1U of Legal studies will definately not count

I go to Sydney Boys High and these are the rankings I think I can get after the trials:

Mathematics - 5th
Mathematics Extension 1 - Top 80
English Advanced - Top 10
English Extension 1 - Top 10
English Extension 2 - Not too well...17/24
Chemistry - Top 20
Physics - Top 20

You reckon I can get a good enough UAI to go to law? I really really want to do law at unsw....

Exactly!~ We should have law courses like England, heard that they only need a UAi well something equivalent to UAI of 60??!?
But then again, if the UAI is that low, wondering if people are keen to do it

no not everyone gets 90....but ppl who do certainly arent just a few...
i'm goin to find out my rankings once i get back to school and get my trial marks.....which arent going to help....

kit with those ranks i reckon ull be set for high 98s and low 99s...altho r u sure you got ranked top 20th for phys and chem? anyhows u can go do law at UTS then....i know ull be disappointed cos there are no good looking asian chicks there..but at least the UAI cutoff is alrite and the course is not that bad...well at least says an old boy who i know goes there....
