Yes, UNCLE also uses a min. uai scheme as a threshold, like uws does.

anyone know what the rural cut-off umat is? For example, is it below 168
I haven't recieved anything yet....
someone said they were running a week late or something....is there still hope or what?

Oh, and if cutoff for normal entry is 178, would anyone be able to guess for rural/remote??

dont worry JB, the cutoff last year was 146 raw score for the rural stream so u will definately get an interview. i know u will becasue i got one with 162.

Oh thank the lord, im so happy, any rural kids got an interview yet, i heard someone got a letter and went out to meet the postman i was that excited, and the i had an official looking letter! but alas, it was from the red cross telling me my blood type, which was still cool, but nonetheless a let down

i am not kidding u people - last year's rural cutoff was indeed 146. This year its slightly higher but if u have a UMAT score in the high 150's and over expect an interview. as i said in my previous post i did get an interview this year with 162.

Now all I have to do is decide between driving and catching a train. How hard is it to get from the Newcastle train station to the Uni?

Oh and my Umat was 206.

Can anyone tell me a bit about the newcastle style of interviewing? Apparently it's a lot more "serious" than UNSW?

Newcastle has a station in campus.
I forget what its called tho. Shouldnt be too hard to look up.
I got no idea about their interviewing style though. Can't be more relaxed than UNSW lol. That was great

was ur interview on the 3rd of october at 3pm? if yes then i was the guy at the interview from vic. unfortunately we cant pick our times for UNCLE, they are allocated but it would be weird if they are the same again.

man i should be studying...My exams start tommorrow - with a nice 3.15 hr english exam to kick things off.

I'm sure you'll do fine, the first one was definately the hardest nerves wise.. By your 3rd - 4th exam, enthusiam leaves and all you can picture is a life without highschool...
