Yeh the RA25 celica is extremely rare and japanese only. Hmmm i don't know where your getting your information? RA20/21/22??? Heres the break down RA23/25/28's are japanese made but delivered to america, we don't get the RA series delivered here in australia, which is a shame because there stock motor is the 18r-g, and its a real gun, Here in aus we have the TA22/23 which has a 18r-c stock motor, and its shithouse.

I would love an AE86.

*drools* Trueno GT-Apex

The above example of a Hachi Roku dons a JDM-esque Stage 2 Group-A type AE101: 2.0L DOHC ... 240 ponies at 11 000 rpm

*vomits in jealousness*

Okay, I'm thinking about a 240Z Datsun Fairlady with RB26DETT engine and wondering whether it would work. What is the best setup for? How about a N/A RB26? How many kilowatts/horsepower will it give me?

It's an awesome but expensive combination. I've not looked into the 240/260Z + RB26 combination extensively before, but you don't see many of them so the negatives must outweigh the positives. You'd probably be better off (and your wallet would be, too) looking into an RB20 or RB25 conversion - RB26 front cuts and engine packs are damn expensive. And an N/A RB26 is basically unheard of. :p

Look into an RB25DE from a Cefiro or GTS25 or GTS-4 or something.

yeh sounds good mate. me and my dad are working on a 260Z atm... im trying to convince him to get a new engine with boost

fastfours did an article on a 240Z with an RB25DET Neo from an R34 back in July 2004... it didn't say what kind of power it was making though
