That sounds much like what I did for a 40% history essay, p sure I will get about 10 for it but that will get me over the pass line (for the course) so it's ok.

I'm going to offer some encouragement/kill any motivation that you have left.

2000 word Foreign Policy essay. 40%. Due Monday.
Started Saturday. Was a little hungover. Got to 300/2000 words before giving up - basically introduction and half a paragraph.

Saturday night - went out again. Got home 11am Sunday.

Sunday - lets face it, nothing productive was going to happen. Got to 600/2000.

Monday - essay due at 4pm. Finished at 3.40 - takes a minimum of 40 minutes to get to uni (I was still at home). Essay barely answers one half of the question, is referenced appallingly, and has not been proofread.
Handed in 4.30, so half an hour late.

Get essay back - distinction, with no late penalty. Though terrible feedback re referencing, and this is at second year level, so I should really have been killed for it.

Win at life!

Aaaaaaaaaand that's the last shred of my motivation gone, yes indeed.

Nice job but :). I'll be hoping I have a similar experience with this ridiculous thing.

^ You finish so early. Last week for me next week.

I'm screwed. My Web Tech assignment looks like crap and I have to present it during the lab. It's ugly and boring. I hate it. I don't even know if I'll finish it.

This is why artsy subjects are fucking bullshit.

You should have been penalised. I would have lost 10%, at least. Poor referencing would have been a 25% penalty.
