Re: Israel vs Palestine
Israel attacked Iraq and bombed the shit out of their nuclear facility in the 80s before. Ever heard of bunker buster bombs? Those things go through mountains like hot knife through butter. Israel had other methods, they used stuxnet before and it was hugely successful. Or they'll straight up kidnap/assassinate iranian scientists when they're overseas.
I'd say Israel would rather bomb the shit out of a nuclear facility and not give a fuck about hezbollah's retaliation. Israel straight up invaded lebanon over hezbollah's shenanigans. with bibi in charge, you can bet your ass they'll do it again.
I'm gonna respond to all of your points one by one.
firstly, about Israel attacking Iraq in the 1980s. I dont understand how that is at all relevant. Israel was years ahead of iraq in terms of army strength and Iraq only had 1 or 2 nuclear facilities at the time which are very easy to target. All of the iraq's nuclear facilities were also built outdoors and it was extremely easy to destroy them.
With regards to bunker buster bombs, firstly It's not as easy as you think, they'd have to get past all of Iran's defensive systems in order to do such a thing which lets say they manage to do. It's not easy to destroy over 15+ facilities in one go but let's say they manage to hit all the targets. Fordow uranium enrichment facility is hidden so deep beneath the ground that Israel not yet has the technology to penetrate through it. The USA started a project years back and developed a bunker bomb that is thought to penetrate all the way down to the enrichment facility but USA wouldn't approve of a military strike and therefor wouldn't provide such bunker bomb to isreal.
You said Israel 'was' successful and they really have, however in this particular case they haven't gotten many options and can't do much.
With regards to 'kidnap/assassinating' iranian scientists... just lol.. Do you really think Iranian scientists would leave the country? For what reason do you think they would do such a thing? They don't participate in any sort of international conferences and their identities are heavily protected. I remember back when I was a kid, going past the nuclear physics campus of a university in Tehran and even that was heavily protected by military guards so do you really think the government will send the scientists out of the country like that?
Over the past years Israel has only managed to assassinate 2 Iranian nuclear scientists within Iran and that's been in it in over what like 10 years lol.
And with regards to hezbollah, you severely underestimate the power of Iran in regions near Israel. Iran is pretty much the only reason why Syrian regime didn't fall and heavily reinforced them and Israel knows this. They would never do something like bombing iran because they know they'll suffer in return.
