I'm thinking of changing Music 1 to Society and Culture but I don't know too much about it. I looked at the Syllabus but it wasn't exactly the biggest help! So from a non bias point of view, is it a good subject? Is it lots of hard work??

THANKS :)

I refrained from posting on this as I find that my view would be biased.
But to give you a general idea of what I am doing in the subject at the moment is mostly about personal reflection. In all rights the subject is based on sociology and psychology atleast it's meant to be. I guess in general terms music would be more beneficial to you as alot of society and culture seems to be general knowledge. But it's my Favourtie subject with saying that.

If you do well in it and your teacher assigns good topics to your class in Year 12, then yes, it's an outstandingly awesome subject. The amount of stuff you learn in the subject is really interesting because it's not like English which is essayessayessaycrapo or History rememberrememberremember it's... different and it allows you to challenge the way you think and perceive things around you.

I would definitely recommend this subject but I know at some schools it's so badly taught.

You could always ask the teacher at school for more info.
