alot of the time at lower ranking schools they set relatively easy internals and other people try hard, do well in them and get higher rankings, then get early entry and flunk the hscBut like tbf if u do bad in a bad schools internals, isn't that on u then? unless its like a assignment where u messed up or it was easier for others to get high marks bc it was easy then ig yeah. cos i have a friend who screwed his internal ranking for chem but that was kinda his fault bc hes bad at assignments but rlly good at actual hsc style exams? most schools would set assignments anyways so idk how it would make a big difference tbh.
and also there are a lot of biased teachers, I’ve been pretty lucky this year but one of my friends who is like extremely smart (like sr material smart) got completely screwed in bio and is ranked like 3rd because the head of science “doesn’t believe in following marking criteria”
