From what I've heard, Sydney has more prestige but the UNSW degree is considered to be better because it is more practical, in contrast to Usyd which is more theoretical. The demand for UNSW law has been increasing whilst it has been relatively steady for Usyd. Really though, it comes down to personal preference with universities

The rumour is that commerce is better at unsw, whilst law is better at usyd.

I've been in unsw law for 3 years and I don't see why it is practical at all :/ The only compulsory 'practical' thing is that we have to go to kingsford legal centre for 5 hours for one of the core courses. The other is that they make us do court reports but it is the same everywhere. imo uts would be the most practical law school since they offer students to complete their practical legal training as part of the course, so you can sign your name on the roll as soon as you graduate.

Same as at UNSW.

Have you seen the Honours List they put on the TV screens in the ASB? It's like... 90% Asian. And then you'll see like a Jim Philips or a Courtney Young or some other "Australian" name meshed in between.
